Celebrate Lunar New Year in Parramatta!
Celebrate Lunar New Year, the Year of the Rabbit, with a night of festivities, lunar lanterns and delicious food including a night noodle market.
Saturday 21 January 2023, 4pm – 9pm
Parramatta Square & Centenary Square, Parramatta
Snap a selfie with the gorgeous lantern display or a roving performer and enjoy the live music and cultural performances on the stage. Welcome the good fortune of the New Year with the lion dancing and watch out for the giant inflatable rabbits.
Get Together This Australia Day in Parramatta!
Enjoy a morning of live music and family entertainment, yummy breakfast and BBQ food, historic vehicles, a native animal display, hot air balloons from 6:00am, and more!
This Australia Day, honour our incredible 65,000+ year heritage and delve into our First Nations culture with the workshops and talks on offer throughout the morning.
The free activities on offer include a rock-climbing wall, stunt jump, bungee trampolines, and a horizontal bungee. Everyone is welcome to join in and have some fun.
Running from 6am – 12pm, the event is held in the beautiful Parramatta Park, a wonderful place to sit, relax, get active, or explore our history.
