Join Jerome Laxale, Member for Bennelong for a Mock Parliment Experience these school holidays! During these school holidays, Jerome is excited to be hosting 2 Mock Parliament sessions for students in Years 4, 5 & 6. Students will get the opportunity to hear about how our Federal Parliament works and will be able to participate in a mock parliamentary debate.
Come along and find out how parliament works, pretend to be a Member of Parliament for the day and receive a commemorative certificate.
When:
- Monday 22nd of April 10.30am-12.30pm – Ermington
- Wednesday 24th of April 10.30am – 12.30pm – Ryde
Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Location will be provided prior to the event.
Please note that there is a capacity of 50 students at each event, and participants will be decided by the order of RSVP.
