F.S Garside Park Part 2 🤩 We showed you the BMX/bike track and you loved it - now for the playground which is at the same location. 👏
Theirs multiple play zones to suit little and big kids, flying fox, in ground trampolines, swings, BBQ’s, seating, toilets and plenty of parking.
It’s ticking plenty of boxes, @cityofparramatta planted 160 trees and there is some shade sails. While they grow, this is a great option for Autumn and Winter when it’s not as hot.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY MUST VISIT 👉 The ultimate action course for older kids and tweens. The kids will love the huge twisting spaghetti net, the circuit ninja course, climbing cubes and more. It is fully fenced, has multiple shaded table and chairs and even a BBQ.

There are toilets located on the Quarry Rd carpark side.

If you have little kids we recommend a visit to Yamble Reserve instead as best suited for younger kids. 👧

There is a small carpark off Quarry Rd. The ground is a mix of bark and soft fall ground. There isn’t any direct shade but @cityofryde had planted larger trees obviously so there is shade provided in the near future. There are also large very mature trees outside the playground that could potentially provide shade.
It attaches to the walkway around the sports field so kids can scooter and bike ride before or after the playground. 👌

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal and had such a lovely little break as a family.
🔆 Great location – right across from the beach, so it was easy to head back and forth with sandy kids and snacks in hand. The beach is patrolled and has gentle waves, perfect for little ones.
🔆 Heated pool and undercover spa – we spent heaps of time swimming, even when the weather was a bit iffy.
🔆 Buffet breakfast (with coffee included!) – lots of variety and plenty of kid-friendly options.
🔆 Great dining options nearby – everything from cafes and fish & chips to Thai and pizza, all within walking distance. We ended up having at least three meals at @thebeachhouseterrigal, which is attached to the hotel – it was super convenient, had a great menu and a really lovely vibe.
🔆 Boardwalk walks – perfect for scooters or prams, and a great way to enjoy the scenery.
🔆 Underground parking – always a bonus when travelling with kids!
Overall a great little getaway. 💕

🔹Trust us - arrive by 8:30am & enjoy a few hours without the overwhelming crowds.
🔹Take public transport – it’s free with your ticket & it’s quick.
🔹 Start with the Farmyard Nursery - the animals are more active in the morning. Feed cups are $3
🔹After the lamb, pigs, poultry and cattle pavilions head to the Woolworths Ag Zone—the kids will love the fun, interactive activities and make sure to try the Glitterbug handwashing!
🔹Consider getting your showbags early—popular ones like the Stella Athletic bag can sell out.
🔹If you want a seat while eating lunch, consider eating early - there HEAPS of choice - sushi, burgers, pizza, pasta, Dagwood dogs and more.
🔹Head to the woodchop after 1:30pm—there no shade earlier and that’s when the tree felling starts anyway!
🔹As for rides, they’re expensivvvee. There’s an app for purchasing coupons, you can download it in advance.

Other hot tips:
🔹Avoid the Woolworths dome during lunchtime unless you love crowds
🔹There’s load of water refill stations - bring your smallest drink bottle and keep refilling.
🔹BYO snacks to save money.
