Whether you’re looking to shoot hoops, let the kids explore the playground, or enjoy a picnic under the shade, the park offers a variety of activities for everyone. The enhancements have transformed the Green into a versatile space that can accommodate a range of outdoor activities.

The upgrades are part of a broader initiative by Hornsby Shire Council to enhance community spaces and not only boost the appeal of the park but also provide a safer, more inclusive environment for recreation and community interaction.

Located at the corner of Beecroft Road and Welham Street, it runs along the train line making it great for train fans to have a play and spot a train. And there’s plenty more to love about this park.

Playground Equipment: The playground has been completely revamped with new nature-inspired play elements. These include balance beams, swings, a hammock swing, and adventure play equipment suitable for older children. There is also specific equipment for toddlers, ensuring safe play options for the youngest visitors.

Basketball Half-Court: A newly installed half-court provides a dedicated space for basketball, catering specifically to older children and teens looking for active recreation.

Outdoor Exercise Equipment: New fitness equipment has been installed, making the park a convenient spot for outdoor workouts. This addition is part of a broader effort to promote health and wellness within the community.

Accessibility Features: Upgrades include new accessible toilets and pedestrian pathways, with a focus on accessibility. An accessible path now connects the playground and picnic areas, ensuring the park is inclusive for all visitors.

BBQ and Picnic Facilities: New BBQ areas and picnic spots have been added, making the park a great place for family gatherings and social events. Natural shade provided by mature trees enhances the comfort of these areas.

Safety and Enclosure: The playground area is enclosed with fencing, ensuring a safe environment for children to play.
