Join Santa and his friends as we count down to Christmas with the lighting ceremony of our spectacular 16m Christmas tree, accompanied by live music and festive carollers.
Find the perfect stocking filler at the Christmas Markets, presented by Walker Corporation. With over 50 market stalls, you’ll be spoilt for choice with our range of artisan and small producer gifting stalls, offering gifts for your loved ones and even your fur babies. PLUS, Powerhouse Shop will present a bespoke selection of products from jewellery to tote bags, and books showcasing the best of art and science for all ages.
Looking for something to enhance your Christmas feast? Pick up some gorgeous relishes, dried fruits, or sauces to complement your Christmas lunch or dinner.
The tree lighting ceremony will start at 7:30pm.
North Ryde RSL Youth Club Christmas Carnival
When: Saturday 30th November 2024, 3pm till 8pm
Where: North Ryde RSL Youth Club, 231 Pittwater Road, North Ryde
This year’s event promises the ultimate family Christmas experience for everyone!
For just $20, enjoy unlimited rides that will have you spinning, soaring, and laughing all day long! Plus, every ticket purchase enters you into a draw to win a trailer packed with incredible goodies!
The entertainment lineup is set to keep the fun going, with live performances by the legendary Classic Oz Band and the high-energy Katcha Duo!

Pyrmont Christmas Concert
When: Saturday 30th November 2024 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: Pirama Park
It’s time to dust off your reindeer ears, put on your party shoes and kick off Christmas at our free concert in Pyrmont.
Jayden Rodrigues will host the evening. Join Diver City, The Quokkas, Whistle & Trick and Soul Empire to sing and dance in the spirit of Sydney Christmas.
All performers will sing carols. Santa will also make a special guest appearance.
There’ll be free craft activities, table tennis and giant Jenga, and other games for the kids (and the kids at heart).
Pack your picnic rug and get in early for the best spots. There’ll be a barbecue fundraiser by Ultimo Public School P&C, Gelato Messina and Sharon Kwan Kitchen food trucks. You can also bring your own picnic.
Parramatta Christmas Markets
Teaming up with the beloved Farmer’s Markets, explore the festive artisan stalls this December to find the perfect gift for that special someone.

The St Ives Christmas Market

Spanning over two days, the event will run 3-9pm on Saturday and 10am-3pm Sunday. With a handmade and artisan pavilion, indoor boutique pavilion, outdoor stalls, food trucks and more, this new market will be an Annual Christmas must-do!

West Ryde Christmas Carols

Where: Anzac Park, Wattle Street, West Ryde
Immerse yourself in the spirit of the season as we gather together to enjoy enchanting carols, live performances and delightful entertainment. This in-person event promises to be a memorable experience for all ages. There is fun for the whole family at the petting zoo, FREE face painting and kids activities, food vans and so much more.
Bring your picnic blankets, chairs and a sense of community as we come together to celebrate this joyous occasion. Indulge in delicious food and drinks available from our local vendors, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for Santa’s special helpers who may make a special appearance!
Cinema in the Park – The Santa Clause

Where: Fontenoy Park, Fontenoy Rd, Macquarie Park
You are welcome to come down from 6pm with the movie starting at sundown (approx. 8.00pm). Treat yourself to a delicious ice cream or the food options available.

Strathfield Christmas Carols

Where: Strathfield Park
This family fun-filled event will see Strathfield Park turned into a Christmas wonderland with a carols stage program, face painting, jumping castle and more. Plus keep your eyes peeled for a visit and photo with the Big Man in the Red Suit…
A special Christmas-themed Movies in the Park screening of The Grinch (2000) will be sure to get the kids in the Christmas spirit.
Hunters Hill Carols
When: Sunday 8th December 2024 from 5-9pm
Where: Boronia Park Ovals
Carols in the Park is a free community event, held in Hunters Hill on the first Sunday in December, where the community come together and enjoys singing carols, browsing food, market and gift stalls, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa and his elves. The night is capped off with a fireworks display – the finale to this ever-popular community event.

Commencing from 5.00pm with kids activities, get your photo taken with San Bear and Santa, and enjoy both the kids and main concerts followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

North Epping Carols

Where: Epping Oval (on Norfolk Rd)
Join in for some Peace on Earth and come together to experience oneness as a local community. Invite your friends to come along too! Carol singing begins at 7.15pm and finishes with fireworks ~ 9pm. Food, drinks, and glowsticks are available for sale.
Carols in the Park North Ryde
When: Tuesday 17th December 2024 from 6.30 – 9pm
Where: Pindari Park, Pindari Street, North Ryde
An exciting Christmas celebration for the local community, particularly families with young children. Free activities typically include:
- Sausage sizzle and drinks
- GLO candles
- Carol singing program
- Santa Claus with lollies for the children

Rotary Carols on The Common
When: Sunday 15th December 2024 from 5pm – 9.30pm
Where: North Ryde Common
Join in for an authentic carols experience at Sydney’s second-largest Christmas carols in the heart of Ryde.
Kicking off at 5pm and running through the night is the Carols on the Common performance, featuring all your favourite classic carols with the best performers from all over Sydney. To close out the night, the whole family will be treated to an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
Come in early to experience the amusement activities and keep the kids entertained with the giant slide, or dodgem cars and dozens of other rides. Food vendors and a sausage sizzle will be served throughout the night.
Limited parking is available on-site with a gold coin donation.
Christmas Carols @ Halliday Park
