RDM Visits: Creative Learning Preschool, North Ryde

This week we were invited to check out Creative Learning Preschool and Childcare located on Cam Street in North Ryde (behind Avon Road near The Dining & Co). This lovely childcare is very special indeed.

About

Creative Learning Preschool and Childcare is a small family-owned centre, which they pride themselves on as it affords them the ability to deeply connect with each child and their family members. With two rooms and a lovely outdoor area, this is the kind of place where a more reserved child would thrive and feel totally heard and seen.

It has a homely feel both inside and out, and both in its layout and the warmth of the educators.

Centre Director Liz shared with us that it is for this reason that many children who have previously been in Family Daycare find the centre a perfect next step on their education journey.

The Educators

The educators are key to what makes this centre so special. They’re not only long-standing, but they also love their role. One educator who has been there nearly 5 years told us she loves the centre so much she thinks she’ll stay there for the rest of their life! How wonderful!

The centre works with teacher-child ratios that are smaller than is required by regulation, so each child gets more one-on-one time with all of their teachers’ plus staff have qualifications higher than the industry standard. This is based on the owners belief that quality teachers are the most valuable asset in a preschool.

Learning

The teaching philosophy at Creative Learning Preschool is well-considered, with beautiful learning spaces that encourage a program rich in both spontaneous and planned experiences. The programs focus on the current interests and developmental needs of each child as well as introducing them to concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through long term projects.

Nutrition

Meals are prepared fresh on-site by their in-house chef who makes breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and afternoon snack for the children. They use a range of seasonal produce in all of their meals and ensure that food meets current nutritional guidelines.

Being a smaller centre, educators always know how much your child has eaten that day – a question we parents often want to know!

Fees & Hours

Fees are $123 per child per day. This price is for all ages and includes all food, sunscreen and wipes.

The centre is open from 7.30am – 6pm each day and they take children from 1.5 years old – school age.

Book now via the contact details below to arrange a tour at this gorgeous centre – your child won’t want to leave!
