Larry Bolitho Reserve, Carlingford

We recently visited Larry Bolitho Reserve in Carlingford. To give you an idea on location, it’s kind of down behind Bunnings. The first thing I need to tell you about Larry Bolitho Reserve is the magic word – fenced. Yes, we have another fenced playground for you! 🙂

Other bonuses of this great little playground include soft fall ground, a shade sail and a bubbler. Also of great importance, there are plenty of seats and beautiful sandstone rocks to sit on.

In regards to parking, there is plenty of street parking around and access to the playground is via gates on both Post Office Street and Young Road.

There are regular swings, and my favourite, a big round orbit swing, and a cute little shop underneath the play area that has a pretend calculator on the window so great for imaginary play. For the budding climbers there is a tunnel to go through and a fireman’s pole to escape on!

There is also a fun wobbly bridge, double slide and coloured sliding balls for the little babies/toddlers. A great park for those with babies all the way up to kindy kids.
