The Walk-in Specialist Emergency Clinic (WiSE) in Macquarie Park has relocated! You’ll now find it right next door at 11 Khartoum Road, Macquarie Park, and they’re still open 10am-10pm 7 days a week, 365 days per year. No appointments are required and walk-ins are welcome.
The brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic is a significant upgrade to the original WiSE clinic that has been in operation at the adjacent site since 2017. The new WiSE Clinic represents the future of exceptional emergency patient care without the arduous wait in crowded Emergency Departments.
The new purpose-built WiSE Clinic has been meticulously designed to boast the following features over two spacious floors:
- An expansion of general bed spaces allowing an increase in capacity, with all new beds
- Doubled the number of paediatric beds
- Every bed has its own TV with Netflix
- Brand new state-of-the-art CT scanner
- Brand new X-Ray facility
- Two new quiet rooms
- Two purpose-built procedure rooms doubling of capacity to perform medical procedures
- Dedicated blood collection room for patient comfort
- Onsite Pathology lab has tripled in size with the installation of an automated shoot for faster collection and processing of results
- WiSE Dental available for dental emergencies 10am -10pm, 7 days per week 365 days per year

The building has been optimised to allow for natural light, while using the latest advances in privacy screening. Expansive balconies with lush gardens provide a space to rest and recharge, meanwhile the comfortable staff room facilities provide a space for our team members to take time out. To make the experience more comfortable for patients, WiSE offers complimentary refreshments, free WIFI access and free Netflix.

Emergency
The Wise Specialist Emergency Clinic is available to help in the provision of assessment, diagnosis, observation and treatment for your baby, child and teenager when an accident or emergency requires more than a GP visit but is considered non-life-threatening. WiSE is staffed by Emergency Specialists, the same doctors who are the in-charge doctors of our state’s Emergency departments. These specialists get specialised paediatric emergency training, as well as diagnosing and treating a cut lip through to severe chest pain and more. With the Pathology lab and radiology department functioning all opening hours WiSE can find a diagnosis in one visit.
Bulk-billed Radiology
Radiology bulk-billed services are available with a valid referral (Xrays, CT’s) and no appointment is needed. You can walk in any time from 10am-10pm, 7 days a week. There is plenty of parking available on site!

Iron Infusion
If you are experiencing new symptoms of iron deficiency and would like immediate assessment, you may choose to access the Wise Specialist Emergency Clinic to see a Specialist Emergency Physician. The need for an iron infusion will be determined following assessment and investigation performed by the Specialist Emergency Physician.

- Please call reception to make a booking. There is an out of pocket cost for Wise Emergency of $260. This includes x-rays, ultrasounds, blood work, medication, wound care etc. All inclusions can be explained by the Wise team.
