A by-election will be held on Saturday 15 October 2022 for the election of one Councillor for West Ward only (see map here), which includes the suburbs Denistone, Eastwood, Macquarie Park, Marsfield, Melrose Park and West Ryde.
The election was triggered by Jerome Laxale’s resignation as a Ryde councillor after he was elected as the Member for Bennelong at May’s federal election.
We wanted to find out a bit more about the candidate who will be representing the West Ward in the years to come. At the links below, you will find answers to set questions that we sent to candidates.
