Located in the Piazza at Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, Farina Pizzeria is the newest restaurant on the block and we had to check it out! Open since December last year, you can head in for lunch or dinner 7 days a week!
The name might sound familiar, they have a cult following at their other locations in North Turramurra, Roseville, Waitara and Crows Nest.
It ticks LOADS of boxes from taste, range price point, vibes and more! Let’s dive in to what we love about it.
Kids Eat Free!
We’re a family-focussed website so let’s start with kids! The kids menu is one of the biggest we’ve seen and it doesn’t even factor in that kids will love everything on the adults menu too! However you’ll definitely want to order a kids meal on Sundays because on Sundays KIDS EAT FREE!* Always love a kids eat free deal!
Our kids ordered the Spag Bol and Margarita pizza, of course, and gave it two thumbs up!
This is also a good time to mention their Kids Pizza Making Parties! Your next Kids party could be a pizza making party at Farina Pizzeria – $35 per child will get you a 2 hour session where kids will learn how to make a pizza with their favourite toppings, plus lunch for each child including their delicious pizza, beverage and more. The Venue
Sometimes it really is the size that counts and Farina Pizzeria definitely has the size! The venue is big enough for all the things we parents need:
- Space for prams (attention Mother’s groups!) and children who can’t seem to sit still.
- Areas that can be booked for functions e.g. christenings and communions, birthday parties, work functions and more.
- It also has plenty of intimate areas to ensure a cosy and romantic date night for two.
- And let’s not forget that it’s in the Piazza of Top Ryde which is perfect for when the kids need to stretch their legs and burn off their ice-cream dessert!
The Food
You won’t see a more extensive menu than at Farina Pizzeria – there’s nothing they don’t have from pizza to pasta, ribs, steak, seafood and more. We were craving pizza and pasta so that’s what we had and while we were at it we couldn’t say no to some stuffed zucchini flowers, arancini and bread with stretchy mozzarella!
They have NAILED wood-fired pizza, with proper and authentic toppings that any Italian will give the chef’s kiss of approval. How fun is this – you can order ANY of the pizzas as a 1 metre pizza, or make combos to suit everyone. We counted 27 slices of pizza per metre pizza!
Their pasta options are also divine. If you don’t like the Rigatoni Salsiccia we will eat our hats – rigatoni with cream, mushrooms, Italian pork sausages, truffle, parmesan and shallots. OH MY!
The prices are good and service is fast and you can even order for pick up. They’re currently in the process of arranging home delivery through one of the major home delivery services – watch this space.
