Carara Reserve is a small park on the border of Ryde and Denistone East just down from Blaxland Road.
The park does have a fence but it has gaps so not exactly fool-proof. But better than nothing some might say! It does not have a shade cloth but there are plenty of mature trees that offer fairly decent shade. There is however, a table with benches that is sheltered. You’ll also find benches throughout the park.
At Carara Reserve you’ll find a nice grass area to run around and kick a ball. Following a play on the climbing frame, swings and slide structure you can rehydrate on the good old fashioned bubbler that is available.
This playground never gets too busy so it’s actually very peaceful. Sit back and enjoy listening to the bird’s chirp and the wind moving through the trees.
Getting There
