Summer might be when you think about swimming but this awesome indoor pool makes swimming fun all year round! Splasher’s Playground, located inside Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is a heated indoor water playground with great facilities and lots of play zones for kids and families to enjoy. Renovation
In early 2021, the area was closed for about 12 months for renovations – the NSW government allocated $16m for capital works which was spent on:
🏊♀️ Training Pool floor replacement
💧 Concrete integrity repairs to all pools
🧱 Tile upgrades for the Leisure and Training Pool, including pool concourse areas
🚽 Leisure side toilet refurbishments at Aquatic Centre
🔨 Cladding repairs around the plant room
❄️ Replacing major elements of the heating, ventilation and cooling systems
☀️ Solar electricity system and panel installation on the roof of the Aquatic Centre
Features
To those who’ve been before, it won’t look all that different – the same facilities are still there for kids and families to enjoy:

- BIG slide (open Monday – Friday: 3pm – 7pm, Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays 10am – 7pm)
Fees
Entry feeds to the pool are as follows:
- Adult $8.70
- Child (4 -15 years) $6.60
- Concession $6.60
- Family Pass (2 Adults, 3 Children or 1 Adult, 4 Children) $31
- Family Pass – Additional family member (4+ years) $6.60
- Spectator (non-swimming & pick up/drop off beyond 15 minutes) $4.60
Parking is free for up to 4 hours (needs validating).

- Large, spacious change rooms
- Cafe that stocks some healthy options
- lots of seating around the pool
- Picnic tables outside
- Baby change table
- Everything is wheelchair and pram accessible
