What Is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a specially designed machine using adjustable spring resistance.
Classes combine strengthening, stretching and stabilising movements to help improve strength, mobility, flexibility and core control. The resistance and exercises can be adjusted for each person, so you don’t need any previous Pilates experience to take part.
Each class runs for 45 minutes and is limited to a maximum of 15 participants. Instructors provide different options throughout the session, allowing everyone to work at a level that suits their fitness and experience.
Some instructors also have pre and postnatal training. If this is relevant to you, contact the Centre through its website to find out which instructors and classes are most suitable.

Would You Prefer Flow or Sculpt?
There are two class styles to choose from, depending on how you like to move.
Flow is a rhythm-based, full-body class featuring smooth transitions and continuous movement. It focuses on flexibility, mobility and movement awareness, with the aim of leaving you feeling stretched, balanced and energised.
Sculpt has a greater focus on strength. It uses controlled movements, adjustable resistance and longer holds to target the major muscle groups and stabilisers, helping to build strength, muscular endurance and control.
Both classes can be adapted to suit different fitness levels, so you can choose based on the style of workout you prefer rather than your level of experience.
