10-11am during school terms. Junior Jivers is a fun, musical themed playgroup for toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents (or grandparents / carers) run by a group of volunteers from Newington Anglican Church.

This group involves a structured 30 minute music themed session (with dancing, singing and a bible story time). This session is usually followed by morning tea that is provided for children and adults and some free playtime! Cost per child for a term is $30.

NSU Youth Summer League

We will be running a 11-week clinic focused on introducing ultimate frisbee to kids looking to try a new sport or to play some ultimate with other kids interested in the sport. This league is for children between the ages of 6 and 18 and will be a mix of lessons and games. The league runs on Mondays between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm at ELS Hall 3 (Lower grass oval, furthest away from the carpark). There will also be an optional extended hour from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm available for kids 13 -18 years focused on game play.

Not sure? The Try Ultimate Frisbee for 2 weeks, FREE!

Just wanting to test out the waters to see what the fuss is all about? No worries, all kids can try out the sport for two weeks for free! Bring your kids along and have a go at ultimate frisbee for free to see if ultimate frisbee is the sport for them. If they would like to continue, just let one of our coaches know and we can let you know how to sign up!

Registration Details and Process

The cost is $50 for the youth league.

Active Kids Vouchers accepted (use the coupon SummerActiveKid at checkout and email youth@nsu.org.au the child’s Name, DOB and Activekids Voucher number).
If you have more than one child in the event, you will get a $10 discount for each additional child. The discount should be applied to your cart when you go to pay

930am-1130am Monday- Friday and a Farsi speaking group on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm during school term for children 0-5 years and parents and carers. It is $80 per family for the term for one session or $120 for two sessions.

We have a range of indoor and outdoor toys, musical instruments and play equipment in a lovely heritage home. There is a sandpit, waterplay area and play equipment as well as arts and crafts available for all to use. Bring your own morning tea and enjoy it on our communal tables whilst meeting some lovely local families.

SMG Playgroup

Sts Michael and Gabriel Antiochian Orthodox Church – 72 Belmore St, (Cnr Junction St), Ryde

10.30am to 12.30pm Thurdsays, during school terms. Kids can enjoy supervised play and craft activities and healthy morning tea/refreshments for parents and children. The children pray a short prayer before eating morning tea and a short Bible study and prayers are optional for mothers who wish to do so. A donation of $5 is kindly requested (but not compulsory) to cover the costs of hall hire, craft activities and morning tea.

The Bridge Church Playgroup

10am to 12pm Friday – Running during school term only, this is a Christian playgroup for children aged 0-5 years. Each week there will be a bible story, singing, craft and fun activities for the children as well as morning tea for both the children and adults. 10am – 11:45am during the school term. It is a music and movement group for children aged 2-5 years (younger siblings welcome) taught within a Christian context. The cost is $27 for the term for one child or $45 for 2 or more children ($3 per child per week/$5 per family per week).

LifeWay Lutheran Church – 56 Norfolk Rd, Epping

10am – 12pm during the school term. Cost is $5 for one caregiver & one child. Additional children or adults are an extra $2 each (newborns – 18 months are free). The group is full but they welcome you to come along to one session for free and leave your details on the waitlist.

West Ryde Wombats Playgroup

West Ryde Community Hall – 3/5 Anthony Road, West Ryde

9:30am – 11:30am Monday and Friday for children 0-5 years old. The fee to attend is $20 per school term per family to cover the hall rent, toys, equipment and craft consumables. The playgroup is affiliated with Playgroup NSW.

Wild Kindy Playgroup
