Believe it or not, COVID didn’t ruin everything, progress managed to continue! Here’s a look at what’s new and what’s coming to the Ryde area.

RDMs have been patiently waiting for a cafe to open again in Ryde Park and in June this year that day came! Located RIGHT next to the playground, Cafe Sotto serves everything from coffee to take away snacks to a sit-down breakfast or lunch.

This epic new addition to the Lane Cove community has it ALL from a children’s playground, village green performance stage, dining precinct, Coles and Aldi supermarkets and a 500-space underground car park.

ANZAC Park playground FENCES installed

Wattle St, West Ryde

Following a $2.5m upgrade in May 2020, council went on to add fencing along Wattle Steet on the advice of the local community. Well done City of Ryde!

Vitaland Kids Cafe at Rhodes Waterside

Set to open mid-October, this Kids Cafe + Playland combo will be located next to ALDI. We’ll be bringing you the inside scoop very shortly!


Kings Park, Denistone

Banjo Paterson Reserve Seawall Upgrade
