City of Ryde Diwali Celebration

Step back in time at this free, family-friendly celebration of Parramatta’s history. Explore Hambledon Cottage, enjoy heritage tours, live music, and hands-on activities for kids. Expect face painting, roving entertainers, an animal farm and sustainable craft workshops — a great day out for all ages.

When:  Sunday, 2nd November, 11am to 5pm

Where: Burns Bay Reserve, Kooyong Road, Riverview

Greek Street Fair – Burwood

When: Tuesday 11th November, 10:15am for a 10:30am start

Where: Memorial Park, Meadowbank

Join the City of Ryde for a moving Remembrance Day service honouring those who have served. A moment of reflection and gratitude, open to all members of the community.

Denistone East Public School Spring Markets

When: Saturday 15th November, 10am – 3pm

Where: Denistone East Public School

Join in for Denistone East Public School’s Spring Markets – free to attend and open to all – there will be stalls, sausage sizzles, coffee, baked goods, live performances, face painting, a petting zoo, and more.

Miniature Steam Trains – West Ryde

When: Saturday 15th November, 1pm–4pm

Where: Anthony Road & Betts Street, West Ryde

All aboard! The Sydney Live Steam Locomotive Society opens its tracks on the third Saturday of each month. Kids (and adults!) can enjoy rides on real miniature steam trains — a true local favourite. Remember to wear enclosed shoes!

Movie Night Under the Stars – Eastwood Heights Public School
