West Ryde Easter Celebrations

This wonderful community event is designed for all ages and is packed with activities, performances and plenty of Easter fun. Expect amusement rides, competitions, animal encounters, food trucks and even a visit from a very special guest — the Easter Bunny.
What’s On at West Ryde Easter Celebrations
Families can enjoy a full program of activities throughout the day, with plenty to keep children entertained.
Highlights include:
- Amusement rides (all-day wristbands available for purchase)
- Free face painting
- Free badge making
- Food trucks and a sausage sizzle
- The Great Easter Egg Mix-Up – a fun Easter Bunny performance
- Pony rides and animal farm experiences (available at a cost)
- Community performances throughout the day
Enter the Easter Competitions
Kids can also get involved by entering one of the West Ryde Easter Celebrations competitions, open to children aged 3–12 years.
- Easter Bonnet Competition: Sponsored by Scion, this classic Easter activity invites children to design and create their own Easter bonnet. It’s always a colourful highlight of the day and a great way for kids to show off their creativity.
- Colouring-In Competition: Sponsored by Cincotta West Ryde Chemist, children can grab their coloured pencils and textas and take part in the Easter colouring competition.
- Singing Competition: Budding performers can take the stage in the Singing Competition, proudly sponsored by Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club.
- Facebook Social Competition: Families can also enter the online competition by answering in 25 words or less: “What is your family tradition during the Easter period?”

The West Ryde Easter Celebrations are a wonderful chance for local families to come together, enjoy some Easter fun and support the community.
