Sydney’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt Comes to the Entertainment Quarter These School Holidays
If you’re looking for a big day out with the kids these school holidays, a huge Easter event is returning to Sydney with rides, animals, live entertainment and Sydney’s biggest Easter egg hunt.
Designed as a fun-filled destination for families, the event brings together classic show attractions, live performances, animal encounters and Easter-themed activities all in one place.

Rides, Shows and Family Entertainment
Families will find plenty of entertainment throughout the event.
Highlights include:
- Motorcycle and bike stunt shows with gravity-defying tricks
- The Monster Jump inflatable obstacle course
- Carnival rides and classic sideshow games
- Showbags and carnival treats
- Live stage performances featuring dance and music
- A daily reptile show
- A popular animal nursery with baby farm animals and bunny cuddles
There will be something happening throughout the day to keep kids of all ages entertained.
Special Events During the Show
A number of special themed events will also take place across the program.
- On Friday, 3rd April, the show will host a Rabbit Hopping Competition, where trained bunnies compete in hopping events throughout the day. Families can also enjoy a fancy dress parade, perfect for cute photo opportunities.
- The French Markets will visit on Sunday, 5th April, while the regular EQ Markets will run on Wednesdays and Saturdays with gourmet food, artisan stalls and local makers.
- Dog lovers can mark their calendars for Dogs in the Park – Dachshund Festival on Sunday, 12th April, featuring the popular Dachshund Derby and fun competitions, including best dressed.
- The show will wrap up on Sunday, 19th April, with National Greyhound Adoption Day, giving visitors the chance to meet rescue greyhounds and learn more about adoption.
Sydney’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt
One of the major highlights for 2026 is Sydney’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt and Giant $2,000 Giveaway Basket.
Children can take part in a fun Easter-themed hunt around the event. Once completed, families can enter the draw to win the $2,000 prize basket, packed with family-friendly prizes including an Ingenia Holiday Parks travel voucher for a future holiday getaway.
New for 2026: Outback Jack Stockman Show
Also new this year is the Outback Jack Stockman Show, a lively performance combining action, comedy and impressive horsemanship.
Families can expect working sheep dog demonstrations, whip cracking and plenty of entertaining moments that showcase a uniquely Australian outback experience.
