Every year we ask the Ryde District Mums Facebook chat group to vote on their favourite local breakfast spots around town. Well, the results for 2023 are in! Here are the top 10.

1. Dining & Co

1 Avon Rd, North Ryde

The Dining and & Co is clearly a crowd favourite, coming in the top 2 for the last 4 years! Open 7 days, this hidden gem consistently serves up some of the prettiest food around alongside coffee that hits just right. Open every day from 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends.

2. Boronia Kitchen

152 Pittwater Rd, Gladesville

This local favourite serves world-class yet home-style food from their open kitchen, to eat in or take away. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner Wednesday – Saturday and Sunday 8am to 3pm.

3. Brits Kitchen

4 Flinders Rd, North Ryde

Brits loyal customers can’t get enough of her housemade treats and bubbly personality. This small but mighty cafe has an Italian flare that will leave you wanting more!

4. Seven Valleys Cafe

13 Watts Road, Ryde

This hidden gem will woo you with its relaxed and neighbourly vibe – the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious coffee and oh-so-satisfying meal. Open weekdays from 6am and 7am on weekends.

5. Charles Street Kitchen

78 Charles St, Putney

Consistently making our top 5 for the last 5 years running, you can count on CSK to hit the spot that’s screaming out for breakfast, lunch, and coffee! If you can get a seat outside on a nice day, it will leave you smiling from ear to ear. Open 7 days a week from 6am.

6. Cav & Co

This beloved local has made a name for itself serviing up delicious Allpress coffee, your favourite breakfast and lunch dishes in a funky and vibrant interior. Open every day from 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends.

7. Fork & Spoon

40/2 Bay Dr, 153 Bowden Street, Meadowbank

Located next to Meadowbank Wharf, Fork & Spoon has made the most of its gorgeous river views with gorgeous and spacious outdoor dining. Plenty of room for prams and well-behaved dogs.

8. Darcy St Project, Epping

40 Victoria Street, Epping (Inside Boronia Grove Community Centre)

Breakfast amongst the gum trees! SO peaceful! Even better, this cafe has a HUGE heart – not only do they serve delicious food, but they are also a social enterprise using profits to help those in need!

Open 7 days from 8am-3:30pm.

Their Macquarie Park location is equally as wonderful and has a kids playground

Nestled amongst the Blenheim Road shops, Tilt serves up a good coffee, well-priced tucker and some say the best corn fritters money can buy.
