NEW: Maestria Bar and Restaurant, Rhodes

We visited Maestria Bar and Restaurant in Rhodes Corporate Park and it’s the hidden Oasis you need to know about. Perfect for functions and special occasions, they’re also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks! Rhodes’ newest venue features an old-world setting with a speakeasy restaurant and bar.

Food

They offer a modern take on Australian food, infused with hints of Japanese and Mexican. For entree, we had Brisket Tacos (Chipotle pineapple marinade, salsa verde), Jalapeno Croquettes (stuffed with dill cream cheese) and Wagyu Tartare, while for main we had the Jerk Chicken (Jamaican spice-rubbed, cooked over charcoal and broccolini), Wagyu Rump Steak (MBS+5 Wagyu rump, medium rare, rocket and parsley salad) and the Murray Cod (country oven-baked vegetables, saffron chorizo sauce and caviar).

They were flavoursome, substantial and hit the spot!

We LOVED dessert and the cocktails were punchy – just how we like them.

Functions

Maestria has already mastered the art of functions, hosting Weddings, engagement parties, christenings, birthday parties, corporate functions and more. The venue is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor areas, each of which have been styled to the nth degree in order to give the warmest of atmospheres! For more information on hosting a function please email the events team.

The Vibe

We visited Maestria on a Friday night aka Jazz night.  Between the pianist, saxophone player and singer, the vibe was pretty on point! Throw in some ambient lighting, 1920s decor and of course some cocktails and you’ve got yourself a fabulous girls night out that’s 10 minutes from home!
