Cheltenham Early Education Centre (CEEC) Magnolia House is the newest centre for Sydney Early Education Centres. If you’re looking for exceptional childcare in Cheltenham, CEEC Magnolia House is a standout new early learning service designed to nurture, inspire and support young children and their families.
CEEC Magnolia House has a very special history. It is set amongst 4,100 square metres of park-like grounds on Beecroft Road, Cheltenham. The centre is a thoughtfully renovated Inter-War home that blends heritage charm with brand new purpose-built spaces for modern early education. With a warm, home-like feel and expansive outdoor learning areas, the centre offers a truly unique environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Inside Magnolia House
The babies and toddlers’ rooms are located within the original 1920s home, which has been superbly renovated to create a nurturing, calm and homely environment. It’s the perfect setting for young children who are starting childcare for the first time — offering comfort, familiarity and a genuine sense of belonging. The original features, including restored fireplaces and beautiful stained-glass windows, add a touch of heritage warmth that complements the centre’s modern learning facilities.
A Place Where Children Thrive
CEEC Magnolia House offers an enriched curriculum that supports each child’s learning and development. The centre’s “Learning for Life” program combines play-based exploration with inquiry-led learning, including STEM experiences, creative arts, literacy, wellbeing and sustainability education. In addition the beautifully renovated 1920’s home is a custom extension which focuses on natural light, high ceilings and open play spaces leading to CEEC Magnolia House’s interactive and immersive outdoor space.
The outdoor environment is just as impressive featuring ‘Hopman Court’, a multi-zone court inspired by legendary tennis coach Harry Hopman, a sustainable Kitchen Garden, woodworking zone, chicken coop, potting shed, sandpit and treehouse. These spaces encourage hands-on learning, physical play and a lifelong curiosity about the world.
CEEC Magnolia House will cater for 70 children each day between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years.
The Early Learning Community (located in the beautifully renovated Inter-War home)
Their Early Learning Community is designed to cater for children from 6 weeks of age until they are ready to transition to the Preschool Community. Their Early Learners will be divided into two small learning groups with high educator/child ratios to ensure individual care and learning.
The Preschool Community (located in the new purpose-built rear extension)
Their Preschool is designed to cater for children from approximately 3 years of age until they are ready to transition to kindergarten. Their early childhood teachers provide a preschool program with high educator/child ratios and small group learning.

Highly Qualified and Passionate Educators
What truly sets CEEC Magnolia House apart is its exceptional team. The centre proudly employs five early childhood teachers, alongside educators with unique backgrounds — including a former Karitane Mothercraft Nurse and a sports coach — bringing a wealth of experience, empathy and specialised skills to the centre.
The team’s philosophy is simple: understand the “why” behind the “what” in early education. They apply research-based practices to ensure every child feels valued, supported and ready for lifelong learning.

Nutrition and Community
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds, and CEEC Magnolia House’s in-house chef prepares fresh, locally sourced meals every day. Children learn about food from garden to plate, developing positive habits around nutrition. Families are at the heart of the CEEC Magnolia House community. Parents can relax in the welcoming family lounge, connect with other families and feel supported throughout their parenting journey. Breastfeeding is also welcome at CEEC Magnolia House and there is space available for this.
