Kindikids Early Learning Centre Ryde: Where Community, Connection & Learning Come First

posted in: Childcare, Life | 0

Since opening in 2018, Kindikids Early Learning Centre Ryde has become a well-established and trusted centre in the local community, offering high-quality education and care in a warm, friendly environment. Enrolments are now open for 2025 and they invited us to come and take a tour of their beautiful centre.

As a locally owned, family-run centre, children feel at home, families stay involved, and learning happens naturally through play and real-world experiences. More than just a childcare centre, it’s a welcoming community where little ones can grow, explore, and build lasting connections.

A Welcoming Environment for Families

Families who visit often comment on the welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why:

  • ☕ The much-loved coffee machine in the foyer serves as a meeting point for parents to connect and chat in the mornings.
  • A fresh paint job, recently re-polished floors and nightly professional cleaning ensure a pristine, inviting space.
  • Strong links with local libraries help foster a love for reading. A special highlight is the Indigenous-painted street library at the entrance, created by former student Tiana Reed.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

The centre’s cleverly designed indoor and outdoor spaces offer an environment that is both stimulating and comfortable.

Indoor Learning Spaces

✅ 5 purpose-built rooms for different age groups (0-2 years, 2-3 years, and 3-5 years).

✅ Large lift and stairs providing easy access between floors.

✅ Well-organised learning areas designed to support children’s developmental stages.

Outdoor Play & Nature Focus

  • Two HUGE outdoor play areas (one on the ground floor and one on the first floor).
  • Nature-inspired design with soft surfaces, grass, and natural landscaping.
  • Covered sections for all-weather outdoor play.
  • High-quality play equipment to encourage movement and exploration.

A Centre Built on Community & Connection

With over 27 years experience in childcare, Kindikids believe that strong connections between children, families, staff and their local communities are key to a deeper understanding of a child’s needs.

Kindikids has strong ties with local schools from St Charles, Putney Public, Villa Maria, OLQP, Gladesville Public, Kent Road and many more. This link helps families stay connected and supported as their children progress through their educational journey.

Kindikids Ryde embraces a holistic approach to learning, where the educational experience is enriched by active involvement from parents and the wider community. Education extends beyond the classroom, fostering a collaborative environment where children, families, and educators grow together.

Young at Heart Program – Bridging Generations

A particularly heartwarming initiative at Kindikids Ryde is the Young at Heart program, which connects children with elderly residents in the community. Through a partnership with a local aged care home, children engage in meaningful activities that tie in with the education calendar – for example, making Easter hats at Easter time. This intergenerational experience helps foster empathy, social skills, and a strong sense of connection.

Lots of Inclusions

Kindikids provides everything your child needs—parents only need to bring formula for nursery-aged children. The centre supplies:

  • Bedding, nappies, sunscreen, and hats (hats are kept on-site and regularly washed).
  • An enrolment pack, including a T-shirt, umbrella, and bag.
  • Five daily meals: breakfast, morning tea, lunch (a hot meal with buttered bread and a fruit platter), dessert, afternoon tea, and a late snack- all prepared on-site by a full-time chef and assistant, meeting all dietary requirements
