We were recently invited to Coco Cubano Top Ryde City Shopping Centre to have a sticky beak and enjoy some lunch. It’s a pretty cool looking place, and based on our double-blind randomised controlled Instagram Poll (?) many of you have been there!
Located in the Top Ryde Piazza, it’s an easy place for a lunch stop with the kids during the day or a family dinner on the weekend. Aside from its groovy eclectic vintage decor and fun Cuban inspired menu, Coco Cubano is super child-friendly. They offer:
- Colouring in books and pencil for kids
- ping-pong bats and balls for the Piazza ping-pong table
- a great kids menu
- a great “kids eat free” deal (more in that below)
- plenty of space for prams
- understanding waitstaff!
The kids eat free deal is an absolute winner – Coco Cubano offers one free kids meal per $20 food spend all day, every day. Can’t go past that! They also have other deals like:
- 2 for 1 Tuesdays from 4pm
- Lunch from $10 on weekdays

On our visit, the mamas ordered the chicken & halloumi salad and the kids had very generously portioned nachos and a ham & cheese toastie with fries, all of which went down a treat. Thanks for having us Coco Cubano! ?
