Join Canada Bay Council for the official opening on Saturday, 15 June from 10am–1pm to enjoy a free barbecue, live music, face painting, and more.

 

 

Funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Canada Bay, the project has includes a brand new, all abilities adventure playground complete with picnic shelters, barbecues, 2 filtered water stations and an amenities building.

Five Dock Leisure Centre will benefit too, with a new cafe and upgraded amenities in the works.


The centrepiece of the upgrade is a brand-new adventure playground featuring two accessible play towers positioned high among the treetops.

Other features of the playground include musical instruments, nature play, a ‘fish trap’ climbing structure, and cozy cocoon for timeout.

Located next to the Five Dock Leisure Centre on Queens Road, this playground is DEFINITELY be one to visit.

 

Getting There

Charles Heath Reserve Playground is located on Queens Road, Five Dock near the Leisure Centre. There is dedicated parking surrounding the entire playground.
