A Warm and Welcoming Place to Learn
B U Music Academy provides a positive and encouraging environment where students can develop their musical abilities and confidence.
The academy isn’t stressful or high-pressure. Instead, lessons are tailored to each student’s ability, confidence and personal goals, making it a great choice for beginners as well as more experienced musicians.
There are eight dedicated lesson rooms designed for different instruments, with quality instruments available for students to use. The family-friendly waiting areas also include children’s tables, colouring activities and Wi-Fi, making lesson time more comfortable for parents and siblings.

Standard lessons run for 30 minutes, giving students focused one-on-one time with their teacher while fitting easily into a busy afternoon.
Lessons are available after school on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with appointments offered until as late as 8pm. Saturday lessons are available from 9am–5pm.
Tuesday and Sunday lessons may also become available as the academy continues to grow.
Building Confidence Through Performance
Students who would like to work towards formal qualifications can prepare for AMEB examinations with support from their teacher.
B U Music Academy also holds mid-year concerts for students who aren’t completing exams. Held in the academy’s onsite performance space, these concerts give students the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned and gradually become more comfortable performing in front of an audience.
Flexible School Holiday Options
Students can continue their regular lessons during the school holidays if they wish. School breaks can also be used to arrange make-up lessons.
The academy also offers school holiday workshops for students who would like to keep learning, develop their skills or try something new.

B U Music Academy is located above Kumon at Suite 10 & 11, 1059–1063 Victoria Road, West Ryde, approximately a five-minute walk from West Ryde Station.
Street parking is available nearby, and the academy has both front and rear access. Families can also enter via Dickson Lane, making drop-offs and pick-ups easier.
