Parramatta Christmas Markets and Tree Lighting Ceremony
When: Thursday 27th November 2025, 3pm – 9pm
Where: Parramatta Square – Darcy St & Macquarie St, Parramatta
Join Lord Mayor Martin Zaiter at 7:30pm for the lighting of the city’s iconic 16-metre Christmas Tree, a dazzling moment that marks the start of holiday celebrations.
Then you can wander through the Christmas Markets, presented by Walker Corporation, where stalls brim with handcrafted gifts, local art, delicious food and live music.
It’s a joyful evening for the whole family, full of festive cheer, community spirit and magical moments.
Pyrmont Christmas Concert
When: Saturday 29th November 2025 from 5.45pm to 8.30pm
Where: Pirama Park
It’s time to dust off your reindeer ears, put on your party shoes and kick off Christmas at our free concert in Pyrmont.
Sing and dance in the spirit of Sydney Christmas along with a bunch of talented performers. Jayden Rodrigues will host the evening along with entertainment from the Team Dream, Lucus Proudfoot, Royston Noell and Hot Potato Band and a visit from Santa.
There’ll be free craft activities, table tennis and giant Jenga, and other games for the kids (and the kids at heart).
Cinema in the Park – The Santa Clause
When: Saturday 6th December 2025 from 6pm
Where: Fontenoy Park, Fontenoy Rd, Macquarie Park
Head down from 6pm with the movie starting at sundown (approx. 8pm) to enjoy inflatables, live entertainment and a photobooth.
Treat yourself to a yummy dinner from one of the food trucks onsite and grab a delicious ice cream for dessert. Entry is free, BYO low chair, beanbag or picnic rug
West Ryde Christmas Carols
When: Saturday 6th December 2025 4 – 7pm
Where: ANZAC Park, Wattle Street, West Ryde
Join in for a magical evening of festive fun at ANZAC Park. Enjoy a fantastic lineup of talented local performers who will fill the air with beautiful Christmas carols, as well as fun for the whole family at the free petting zoo, free facepainting and food vans, plus so much more.
Bring your picnic blankets, chairs, and indulge in delicious food and drinks available from local vendors. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for Santa’s special helpers who may make a special appearance!
Carols in Willoughby Park
When: Saturday 6th December 2025, 4pm – 9pm
Where: Willoughby Park, Cnr McClelland Street & Warrane Road, Willoughby

Festive family-fun from 4pm with fairground rides and an international food village to enjoy.

A special appearance by Santa himself.

A carol sing-along extravaganza begins around 6:30pm, featuring performances by the Willoughby Band and the Willoughby Symphony Choir with a mix of traditional carols and fun festive favourites.

Dogs on leash are welcome, though expect large crowds.
Hunters Hill Carols
When: Sunday 7th December 2025 from 5 – 9pm
Where: Boronia Park Ovals
Carols in the Park is a free community event, held in Hunters Hill on the first Sunday in December, where the community come together and enjoys singing carols, browsing food, market and gift stalls, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa and his elves. The night is capped off with a fireworks display – the finale to this ever-popular community event.
Ryde Christmas Market

Christmas on Majors Bay Road is a festive community event presented by the Majors Bay Chamber of Commerce. Get ready for a night full of carols, stalls, a live DJ, entertainment, and of course a special visit from Santa himself!
North Epping Carols
When: Friday 12th December 2025, from 6.30pm
Where: Epping Oval (on Norfolk Rd)
Join in for some Peace on Earth and come together to experience oneness as a local community. Invite your friends to come along too! Carol singing begins at 7.15pm and finishes with fireworks ~ 9pm. Food, drinks, and glowsticks are available for sale.
Christmas Carols in Parramatta Park
When: Saturday 13th December 2025, 3 – 10pm
Where: Parramatta Park, Pitt Street and Macquarie Street, Parramatta
Enjoy classic carols and modern favourites performed live. Gather your loved ones and join us at Parramatta Park on for a FREE Christmas concert featuring singalongs, family fun and festive cheer. Family-fun activities start at 3pm* and Carols kicks off at 5pm*!

Rotary Carols on The Common
When: Sunday 14th December 2025 from 5.30pm – 9.15pm
Where: North Ryde Common
Join in for an authentic carols experience at Sydney’s second-largest Christmas carols in the heart of Ryde.
Kicking off at 5.30pm and running through the night is the Carols on the Common performance, featuring all your favourite classic carols with the best performers from all over Sydney. To close out the night, the whole family will be treated to an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
Come in early to experience the amusement activities and keep the kids entertained with the giant slide, or dodgem cars and dozens of other rides. Food vendors and a sausage sizzle will be served throughout the night.
Limited parking is available on-site with a gold coin donation.
Carols by Candlelight Sydney Adventist Hospital
When: Sunday 14th December 2025 from 5pm
Where: Wahroonga Seventh-day Adventist Church – 183 Fox Valley Rd, Wahroonga
Commencing from 5pm with kids activities, get your photo taken with San Bear and Santa, and enjoy both the kids’ and main concerts, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Chris Sebastian (Winner of ‘The Voice’ 2020), award-winning jazz vocalist Emma Pask, and six-time Golden Guitar winner, Australian singer-songwriter Amber Lawrence will headline the main Carols program this year. Joining them are Lizzy Tang from Pymble Ladies College, the Wahroonga Adventist School Choir, with special performances by the SAH legendary band members, plus guest appearances by San Bear and Santa.
Church Carols at The Canopy
When: Sunday 14th December 2025, 6pm – 8pm
Where: The Canopy, Lane Cove (with on-site parking of around 500 spaces)
Features: Free community carols event hosted by local churches (including LCM Church and C3 Church Lane Cove). An open-air evening of music and community spirit, perfect for families to bring a picnic rug or chair and enjoy festive carols together.
