There’s a brand new playground in Sydney’s Inner West and trust us when we say this one is worth adding to your weekend list. Yeo Park Playground in Ashfield has recently undergone a huge $2 million upgrade, transforming the much-loved local park into an impressive inclusive playground packed with activities for children of all ages and abilities.

A Huge Inclusive Playground

Designed to be welcoming and accessible for everyone, the new playground supports a variety of play experiences, including social, sensory, physical and quiet play.

The playground was designed with help from disability play experts Touched by Olivia Foundation, alongside extensive consultation with local residents, schools, therapists, disability advocates, children and community groups.

What Kids Will Love

Kids will have an absolute ball exploring:

• Double flying fox
• In-ground trampoline
• Giant slides and tunnels
• Inclusive swings
• Water play area
• Climbing and balancing equipment
• Sensory walkway
• Timber steppers and balancing beams
• Nature play areas under the famous “Broccoli Tree”
• Scooter track loop winding through the park

One really special feature is the artwork inside the tunnel beneath the slide, created using drawings and ideas submitted by local children during the community engagement process.
