It’s time to go bananas at the Monkey Bar!
Rhodes Waterside has just opened their new playground! The playground is brand new, bespoke play area built just for your little monkeys! Located on the ground floor behind Boost Juice, the state-of-the-art playground was built especially for this location. The design encompasses 6m tall climbing towers viewable from the upper level. This is connected by an exciting crawling tunnel stretching over the centre’s escalators!
The Monkey Bar replaces the original loved play area. It was designed back in the Centre’s opening in 2004. The Monkey Bar is filled with slides, touch to learn activities, climbing towers and endless games and is suited for all ages, with a special soft play area for the little ones. It has been designed with children aged 2 to 10 in mind.
We’ve always loved heading to Rhodes to get our fix of Ikea and the original play area was a favourite of ours. The new playground makes it an even more family friendly destination in the Ryde area!

How about visiting one of over a dozen great dining options night and day, cinemas showing plenty of kid-friendly films (with $10 tickets!) and the best shops for the family. The centre also has an exclusive Mighty Monkey Kids Club. You can sign up online or in centre to receive exclusive updates with the latest news.
