Whether it be a park, a cafe or a play centre, there’s one thing that’s absolutely crucial – SPACE! Here’s where RDMs think are the best places in the area to have mothers group catch up.
Parks
Ryde Park
Corner Blaxland Road and Argyle Ave, Ryde
The clear favourite in the voting polls, Ryde Park has THE winning combination of a park and cafe (Cafe Sotto) in one. It also features a brilliant scooter park, walking track, basketball courts, sheltered picnic tables and so much more that will appeal to mothers groups. Read our full write up here.
Waterloo Park, Marsfield
199 Waterloo Rd, Marsfield
This great outdoor space has loads to offer including a playground, walking track, exercise equipment and loads more. But what mothers groups might love the most is that it’s located next to Trafalgar Place shops, making it a great option for when you want to grab a bite to eat or coffee before playtime (which is always, right?). Livvi’s Place – Timbrell Place, Five Dock
19 Henley Marine Dr, Five Dock
This beauty of a playground also nails the ultimate brief of cafe + play. Located in Five Dock, it’s definitely worth the 20 minute drive from the Ryde area for the great cafe selections and awesome inclusive playground fun.
Bicentennial Park, West Pymble
Prince Of Wales Dr, West Pymble
This lovely playground is a great option because it’s big, it’s fenced and it’s great fun for kids. Pack a picnic and stay for a few hours. Read our full write up here.

For those times when you all need to get the groceries done and run some errands at Macquarie Centre, Quell cafe is a great option for Mother’s group catch ups. Hide from the crowds at this spacious secret oasis and hopefully enjoy a moments peace!
