What nicer thing to do for a mum of 3 than a bit of pampering? My RDM partner in crime Jacqui just had a baby and I thought a really nice thing to do for her was to send her off for a Pedicure.

RDM has been working and collaborating with the Rhodes Waterside marketing team for a few years now, and they were kind enough to gift us a voucher for Odyssey Nails.

Odyssey Nails is located on the ground floor near ALDI. Jacqui visited in time for Christmas as so went with a red glitter polish (yasss queen!) and was very happy with the service – so much so that she visited again this week (at her own expense) for a new colour, this time hot pink!

Hygiene is obviously really important to everyone getting their nails done and Odyssey Nails appears to have very high standards in that regard. Jacqui explained that foot spas are lined with plastic and each utensil used is opened fresh from being sterilized in the Autoclave.

Nail shape and length of time the polish lasts are two other factors that are important – Jacqui said that she found the shaping PERFECT! Not at all crooked like some places can be. As for the polish, she was very happy with the longevity of it – there were zero chips after 2 weeks and she only refreshed the colour because her nails grow fast.

So thank you Rhodes Waterside and Odyssey Nails for bringing a smile to my friends face and some glamour to her toes!
