The Playground
The playground features climbing structures, slides, swings and imaginative play equipment. Younger children will find plenty to enjoy, while the climbing elements and larger equipment should also keep primary-school-aged children entertained.
Playground features include:
- Slides and swings
- Climbing structures
- An accessible roundabout
- Equipment for toddlers and primary-school-aged children
- Partially shaded play areas
- A huge sandpit with shade umbrellas
The playground is partially fenced, rather than fully enclosed, so younger children will still need close supervision.
The enormous sandpit gives kids plenty of room to dig, build and play, so pack a bucket and spade if your children are particularly keen sandpit fans!
Surrounding the playground are large grassy areas for picnics, shaded tables, seating and barbecue facilities. There’s also a lovely waterfront path that’s ideal for a pram-friendly walk before or after playtime.
Coffee and Food
A café is located immediately beside the playground, making it easy to grab a coffee, breakfast or lunch without having to pack everything from home.
- Large menu with plenty of options
- Food for adults and children
- Outdoor seating close to the playground
- Convenient for a coffee while the kids play
Parking and Public Transport
There is ticketed street parking around Pirrama Road and the surrounding streets, but spaces can be limited during busy periods. Arriving early is your best bet, particularly on warm weekends and during the school holidays.
The 389 bus stops nearby, and the park is also within walking distance of the light rail.
