The long-awaited Parramatta Aquatic Centre opend in September 2023 after an extensive $88.6 million refurbishment over six years! This state-of-the-art facility is more than just a pooil – it caters to the fitness and wellness needs of the community with a variety of amenities and features.
Situated within Parramatta Park on 30,000 square metres, the building was designed with minimal impact on the surrounding landscape and acknowledges the site’s history as a gathering place and UNESCO World Heritage site.
Facilities
Parramatta Aquatic Centre houses a range of amenities such as

- steam room
- sauna
- cafe
- creche for children
Other amenities include locker access, plenty of seating, pram-friendly spaces, showers, and toilets.
Pools
The centre boasts several pools, including:
- a 50-meter 10-lane heated outdoor pool designed for Olympic-sized swimming
- a 25-meter 8-lane heated indoor pool suitable for lap swimming and aqua fitness classes
- a learn-to-swim indoor pool
- an indoor splash play area for children
Pricing
The Aquatic Centre provides two hours of free parking upon signing up as a casual member.
