WinJoy Reserve, Rydalmere

Parents of train lovers rejoice! We’ve found you a park that ticks all the boxes! WinJoy Reserve is a small playground in Rydalmere that packs in plenty of fun especially for locomotive fans, featuring not only a train for playing in, but also a ticket booth and waiting platform to boot. The soft fall ground even has a ‘brick path’ and ‘train track’ design on it.

The playground also features a great climbing unit that has slides, a spider net, fireman’s pole, rope wall, tunnel and ladder. There is a table and benches right beside the park too.

While the play area isn’t fenced, it’s set slightly away from the road and has the man-made hills to help deter kids from the road.

When your little one has disembarked all passengers and retired the train at the station, they might enjoy a play on the green grassy hill while watching the reals trains go by at Dundas station! Fortunately, this area is covered by mature trees, so there is plenty of shade for protection on those high UV days. The play area isn’t quite so lucky in the shade department, but the newly panted surrounding trees with offer shade in the years to come.

Win Joy Reserve is pram accessible and parking is available right outside the playground. Just nearby at the Dundas shops, you’ll find some food and drink options as well as a chemist and post office. Talk about handy! Another big tick for us multitasking mums.

Getting there

You will find WinJoy Reserve at 1A Calder Road near Crowgey St, Rydalmere.
