Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the City of Parramatta! Get ready for bustling energy and a dazzling array of colours with 9pm fireworks and live entertainment at five fantastic locations.
Join in at one of five locations in the City of Parramatta to celebrate New Year’s Eve with family fun, live music, and 9pm fireworks!
Locations
Old Toongabbie, Winston Hills, North Parramatta, Dundas Valley, and Ermington will each host New Year’s Eve events on 31 December 2022. Gates open from 5pm at each site.
Note: To allow for more of the community to view and enjoy the fireworks, City of Parramatta has moved the 2021 site at Northmead Reserve to Max Ruddock Reserve for 2022.
Tickets
Tickets cost $5 and are free for children under 2 years. Ticket holders will receive a complimentary gift on arrival. Ticket sales will be released in two stages:
- First 1200 tickets (per site) on sale 12pm Friday 2 December 2022
- Remaining tickets (per site) on sale 12pm Monday 19 December 2022
They are expected to sell out quickly so be sure to get in early!

Planning Ahead
You’re invited to BYO picnic. There will be a limited offering of food vendors at the event, such as ice cream and snacks.
We recommend bringing a picnic basket and/or Esky with food and drinks, plus foldable chairs or a picnic rug, refillable water bottles and weather protection to make a comfortable space for yourself on the grass.
Cooking equipment, such as camping gas burners, are not permitted on site.
