Lyceum Centre specialises in providing dedicated and research-driven pedagogy for gifted students. Gifted students are often overlooked, underachieve or unchallenged by mainstream schools. Our founders, who are experienced educators and gifted individual themselves, have set up the centre to address the lack of programs and resources available for gifted students. Our educators will provide the intellectual stimulation that your gifted child craves for and enrich gifted students to reach their full potential.
The Lyceum Centre is running two different themes of workshops designed to challenge the brightest minds in the upcoming school holidays! Workshops are split between primary and high school students, focusing on different skill sets and levels.
1. The Great Detective Challenge – A Thinking Skills Workshop @ Epping
The Great Detective Challenge is a two-day workshop that will develop and extend the thinking skills of gifted students based on a stimulating detective case investigation. Designed to challenge the logical reasoning and thinking abilities of gifted students, students will work together and compete in groups in deducing clues, tackling complex puzzles, solving real-life problems – with the aim of finding the ultimate culprit!

2. The Culture of Language and Language of Culture – An Online English Skills Workshop
How do culture and language affect the way we view others and how others view us? How is language an embodiment of culture? What does the language we speak tell others about us?
This workshop will explore and extend key English concepts utilising engaging and intellectually-stimulating activities that focus not only on skill acquisition, but also on the nurturing of the gifted mind to reflect on and incorporate learning into experiences in daily life.
