Livvi’s Place, Yamble Reserve, Ryde

Livvi’s Place is no ordinary playground and can only be described as a MUST VISIT. The most incredible thing about it is that it has been custom designed by Touched by Olivia to be an inclusive and accessible place for all people including those with physical, sensory, intellectual and spectrum disabilities.

This wonderful playground ticks so many boxes:

  • it’s fenced
  • there are plenty of shade cloths providing great sun cover
  • it has a number of undercover picnic tables
  • there is a BBQ inside fence area
  • there are accessible unisex toilets
  • Scooter tracks
  • soft fall ground

In terms of play equipment, there’s pretty much nothing this ginormous playground doesn’t have:

  • 2 flying foxes, one is a seat with a belt, the other a button seat
  • water pump
  • swinging rope hammock
  • sand play area
  • wonky mirror
  • musical and percussion elements
  • tunnels
  • climbing rope frames
  • seesaw
  • so, so much more!

Because of its features and size, this playground is a great one for kids birthday parties however we have heard rumours that securing a table means someone will need to mind it from 5am (on weekends)!

Storytime

Story and craft time is held every Friday from 10am – 11am, compliments of Touched by Olivia, and it’s just so lovely. Make sure you head down at least once!

Getting there

Livvi’s Place is located at Yamble Reserve on Quarry Road, Ryde. The playground has a carpark attached off Quarry Road with plenty of spaces.
