Kidz on Porter in Ryde is now welcoming enrolments for 2026 and 2027. This family fun centre would love to show you around the centre and see if it is fit for your child. 

This family-owned and operated centre has been part of the community for over 11 years, but this family has over 20 years experience in the industry. It is loved for its warm, consistent care and strong team. One of the things that really sets Kidz on Porter apart is their dedicated staff, many of whom have been with the centre for over a decade. With no casual or agency staff, children are cared for by familiar faces every day — something families deeply value.

Outdoor Play Spaces

The outdoor areas are a highlight at Kidz on Porter, split into dedicated spaces for younger and older children. Much of the yard is covered, so kids enjoy fresh air and active play in all weather.

For 0–3 year olds:

Daily Meals

Kidz on Porter provides five nutritious meals daily, served on-site from a rotating four-week seasonal menu. The meals are freshly prepared each day in their industrial-sized kitchen. During our tour, we were impressed by the fridge stocked with fresh fruit and produce. Kidz on Porter also accommodates allergy, dietary, and cultural requirements, and their menu is Munch & Move approved.

Preschool & School Transition

Kidz on Porter offers both a play-based program and a dedicated preschool program for children starting primary school the following year. The preschool program is thoughtfully developed by their ECT team in collaboration with Kindergarten transition teachers. This ensures children are well-prepared for their first year of school.

Families receive monthly observations, semi-annual checklists, and detailed developmental summaries, along with school transition statements for every child. This ensures you are kept informed every step of the way. Kidz on Porter also provides comprehensive school transition support. Including networking with local primary schools, assisting with reports, and allowing access for allied health professionals, school support, and families on-site.

Start Strong Fee Relief

Kidz on Porter participates in the NSW Government Start Strong initiative, offering fee relief for families with children in the two years before school.

• Families with 4-year-olds (by 31 July) can save up to $2174 per year
• Families with 3-year-olds may save up to $515
• Fee relief applied evenly across the year to weekly statements

CCS 3- Day Guarantee

From 5 January 2026, all eligible families will receive a minimum of 72 hours (or three days per week) of subsidised childcare per fortnight, regardless of their activity levels. 

Orientation

• Free orientation sessions prior to commencement
• Families invited to share their child’s goals, routines and interests with educators
• This process really helps to ensure a smooth and gentle transition into care
