Irene Park, Eastwood

Irene Park, Eastwood is one for the jungle animal fans! Do you have a lion fan in your house? If so, this is the playground for you.

This is a lovely little park and fairly new. It is on the corner of Balaclava Rd and Irene Crescent but is set back from the road, and a pram friendly path will lead you to the playground.

There are seats for the adults and some nice trees for shade but no shade sale. The equipment is new and fun with the jungle animal theme – your little one can roar with the lions, climb up the small rock climbing wall, head up the steps then down the slides, have a little swing or play on the mini rope wall. This is a great park for those under 5 kids – it is small but neat and tidy (except for the bark ground..!)

Irene Crescent is best for parking as it is not as busy as Balaclava Road plus this is where the path leads from.

Getting there

Irene Park is located on Balaclava Road Eastwood. Parking is on Irene Cresent and Balaclava Road.
