Forest Park, Epping

Upgraded October 2018, Forest Park on Blaxland Road is small but nifty and seems to be best suited to older kids aged 4 and above (younger kids may not be able to reach or use the equipment). There is, however, a baby/toddler swing to keep those little ones happy!

The playground has a lovely wood theme and some unique play equipment. Equipment includes:

  • balance beam through the garden (watch out for the plants!)
  • rock climbing wall
  • rope ladder
  • slide
  • wobbly planks that cross to a platform
  • diagonal planks that cross to another platform
  • swings (including a bucket swing)

Things we love about this park include the huge open green-space, mature tree shade and soft fall ground. While not fenced, the playground is away from busy Blaxland Road. Make sure to bring a ball or picnic blanket as there is plenty of grass and landscaped gardens to enjoy!

If you have kids under 5, you’ll find Henry Brigg Playground less than 300m away which little ones will love.

Getting There

Forest Park is between Blaxland Road and Forest Grove. You can find the best street parking on Forest Grove.
