Fire & Rescue NSW Open Day

The Fire and Rescue NSW Open Day is back this year on Saturday 11th May from 10am to 2pm.

Visit your local fire station to go behind the scenes and gain a glimpse into Australia’s busiest fire and rescue service.

From fires, chemical spills, car crashes, natural disasters and humanitarian relief across the state, our firefighters are prepared for anything.

Open Day is your chance to meet our firefighters, see trucks in action, check out their equipment and find out more about what they do.

Visitors can also speak to firefighters first-hand about fire safety in the home, including how to install and maintain smoke alarms and how to develop a home escape plan to ensure they can quickly and safely escape a fire.

Please note that if you get to your station and it is closed, it may be responding to an emergency.
