Fairfield Adventure Park

It’s not in Ryde but Fairfield Adventure Park has to be one of the coolest playgrounds in Western Sydney.  It’s PERFECT to visit in the school holidays as you can take kids from 2 – 15 years of age – it really has something for every age group!

This playground has LOADS of equipment spread across 7,500 square metres! Some of the most notable equipment includes:

  • 3 giant slides that can only be accessed by an 11-metre high climbing frame! Suitable for very strong climbers and very brave sliders!
  • 4 flying foxes
  • huge 360-degree bucket swing
  • dedicated younger kids’ play area
  • plentiful seating for spectators
  • Ice-cream van (seasonal).

Obstacle Course

Arguably, even MORE fun than the playground (according to our kids) is the obstacle course/ninja warrior course which includes:

  • tyre climbs
  • vertical rope climbs
  • monkey bars
  • rope bridges
  • balance beams and more!

It’s a challenge for young and old, and we noticed that teens up to 15 were also enjoying the equipment with friends. Our kids ran the course at least 3 times!

Other Features

If this isn’t enough, Fairfield Adventure Park also has:

  • outdoor gym equipment
  • BBQ’s
  • basketball court
  • lifesize foozball court
  • toilets
  • water refill station
  • sportsfields

Getting There

Fairfield Adventure Park is located in Vine Street Fairfield. There is free on-site parking, with a 6-hour limit but it does fill up quickly on weekends.
