Kitchen Table Cooking Class – Course 1, SYDNEY FISH MARKET

Sydney not-for-profit Table is partnering with Sydney Seafood School and some of the country’s hottest chefs for two exclusive cooking classes in May to raise much-needed funds to deliver a new educational cooking program for people in need in Sydney.

The first class will take place on Tuesday, 23 May, hosted by author and food personality Joanna Savill and featuring one of Sydney’s most talked about chefs, Danielle Alvarez of Fred’s and master of fine and casual dining, Mike McEnearney of No. 1 Bent Street and Kitchen by Mike.

The intimate four-hour classes are limited to 60 people per class. Participants will get hands-on in the kitchen and learn to make delicious dishes under the expert guidance of each chef.

Each ticket sold will enable Table to sponsor one person to take part in the new six-week Kitchen Table Cooking School, which will be offered at 10 safe houses and drop in centres in Sydney to support vulnerable women to rebuild their sense of self-worth.
