Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join and become an Aquatics Program Instructor. In this role, you will be required to deliver high quality learn to swim lessons to a variety of ages and skill levels.
Join our team and get free qualifications and training to become an Aquatics Program Instructor.
The program includes:
- AUSTSWIM’s Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Course
- Practical training hours AUSTSWIM hours and assessment with Aquatic Centre staff
- On the job training and support
- CPR qualification
- Work opportunities in other aquatic programs including schools, birthday parties and school holiday programs
Salary
- Casual Rate from $28.82 per hour + super + weekend penalty rates
To be successful in the role you will need to have the following knowledge and skills:
- Be able to work in aquatic environments teaching in the water
- Work with children/adults from diverse ages, backgrounds and swimming abilities
- Strong communication skills when dealing with children and parents
- Be available for a minimum 2 days per week
