Douglass Avenue Reserve, Carlingford

Douglass Avenue Reserve in Carlingford is a lovely little playground great for children about 2-6 years of age. Fairly recently built in 2021, its condition is good and the equipment is modern. While not the biggest of playgrounds, it packs a lot of punch including:

  • slides
  • a bucket swing
  • bike / scooter track
  • petrol refuelling station
  • a climbing wall
  • balancing trail
  • table and chairs

We especially love that just across the road is a fantastic cafe – The Woodstock Collective – serving yummy food and delicious coffee from 7am – 2pm. Nothing beats the coffee and park playdate combo!!

To add to the fun, make sure to visit the street library just up from the cafe, whether it’s to add to its collection or borrow from it.

Getting There

Douglass Avenue Reserve is located at 24 Woodstock Rd, Carlingford. Parking on the adjacent streets is plentiful.
