Sip, swirl and taste your way through the 2024 Cork & Fork by the Riverside.

On Sunday 26 May 2024, Cork & Fork by the Riverside is set to return to Kissing Point Park, Putney. Enjoy a fantastic day out with family and friends along the picturesque Parramatta River while enjoying free tasting samples from a range of boutique wines from the Orange and Hunter Valley regions, locally made spirits and craft beer. Bring a picnic rug and grab some food from the food trucks as you listen to music from talented artists. Bring the kids along as there are lots of activities for them to enjoy including ponies and amusement rides.

Entry into Cork & Fork by the Riverside is free of charge. If you would like to drink alcohol from the range of breweries, distilleries, and wineries attending the event, you can purchase a Cork & Fork by the Riverside glass for $10, this will include free tastings. If you like what you sip, full glasses can be purchased individually from stallholders.

The City of Ryde events team will monitor the weather leading up to the event and will notify the public of any updates via the Council’s website and Facebook page.

Kids Activities

Bring your children along for a jam-packed day of fun! There are a variety of kid’s activities available on the day;

  • Free kids’ cooking workshops
  • Free face painting
  • Free Lego workshop
  • Free craft activities
  • Pony Rides. Tickets must be purchased from supplier. $12 for a small pony and $18 for a large pony.
  • Kids amusement rides. Tickets must be purchased from supplier. $8 for a single rides token and $35.00 for unlimited rides wristband.

Please note all children under 17 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.

Performer Schedule

10:00am | Luke Station – Luke is a young, Sydney-born musician whose style revolves around a wide range of genres including funk, reggae, jazz and pop. Through the power of being a one-man band, Luke continues to go above and beyond to explore new ways of evolving his sound.

10:30am | Haley Holgate – Haley has been performing from a very young age and her passion has only grown stronger with every gig. She regularly performs at weddings, private events, engagement parties, and corporate events. Her live performances feature classic artists like Whitney Houston and Fleetwood Mac, and current chart-toppers such as Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa.

11:00am | Ange Roze Burke – Sydney-based singer, songwriter, producer & performer, Roze Burke, is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. If you’re a fan of indie pop, she’s one to watch!

11:30am | Bonnie Kellett – ARIA Charting artist Bonnie Kellett. Her debut album ‘Hidden Spirit’ went to #2 on the ARIA Australian Country Music Charts and #21 on all genres. Bonnie Kellett is a multifaceted performance artist working with some of the most cutting-edge and talented individuals in the entertainment industry including Kasey Chambers, Gina Jeffries, Lee Kernaghan and Travis Collins.

12:05pm | Queenie and the Cavaliers – Step back in time and prepare to be transported to an era of swing, sophistication, and pure musical magic as we introduce to you the sensational Queenie and The Cavaliers! Queenie and The Cavaliers are ready to dazzle and delight you with their charm, charisma, and undeniable talent!

1:00pm | Hot Potato Band – Hot Potato Band’s Pop-Up Show is a Sydney-based brass collective who have travelled all around Australia, breathing a breath of fresh air to all those who get the pleasure of watching them perform. They are fun and interactive and definitely will have you bouncing in your shoes.

2:00pm | Soul Nights – Soul Nights is Sydney’s premium party cover band playing at some of the biggest events across Sydney from the hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s and current. A band that will keep you dancing all night long!

3:00pm | Sunset Socialites – The Sunset Socialites are a collection of Australia’s finest live musicians, bringing a sophisticated, modern twist to a traditional band lineup. During residencies at the country’s most iconic venues, they have shared the stage with international superstars such as Macklemore, Dizzee Rascal, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Groove Armada and many more.
