Christmas Lights in Ryde & Surrounds

Switching on from the 1st weekend in December, neighbourhood Christmas light displays are undoubtedly a favourite Christmas activity for the whole family. We’ve put together a list of the best local streets to get your fix this year.

North Ryde

Chauvel Street
Schumack Street
Cutler Parade
Avon Road

These are regarded as some of the best streets in the area with loads of houses to see plus an ice cream van to boot! Best to go on foot.

Stephen Avenue (off Quarry Road near Midway Shopping Centre)

This is a cracker of a street, with nearly every house in the cul-de-sac lit up including a golden archway at the end of the cul-de-sac. Don’t try to park too close, it gets very busy!

Putney

Gregory Street – a nice little cul-de-sac walk with about 10 houses lit up.

Eastwood

Darvall Street – just one house but it’s very festive!!

Our Performing Arts Programs run over two days, which is a great way to break up the school holidays. The program focuses on self-esteem and confidence building. We encourage the children to be part of the creative process, allowing them to feel valued and proud of their achievements.

Our World of Wizardry program is calling all 5 to 12 year olds in primary school for a special adventure these coming holidays.

For 2 days, your child will leave the Muggle World behind and step into a magical world, all culminating in a Wizardry Showcase on Day 2 for families!
The children will engage in sessions designed to inspire their creativity, boost their confidence, and ignite their love for learning in Magical Dance, Drama, and Singing sessions.
Your budding Wizard will get to make potions and cast spells with STEM, engage in House challenges to earn points, and make magical Craft & Cooking creations.

Get ready to experience Bop’s magical “World of Wizardry”.
