The question “where is the best burger around here?” comes up fairly frequently in the Ryde District Mums Facebook group, which is only natural because burgers are awesome. We polled our mums on their favourite burger joints and the final votes have been tallied. Drum roll please – here are the best burgers in town!
1. The Burg, Five Dock
Coming in at first place by a landslide, The Burg, Five Dock is clearly a ‘must-try’! Quality ingredients, great service and a tasty menu are some of the features this joint boasts.
2. Chubby Buns, Victoria Road Ryde
Serving up charcoal grilled Wagyu beef and Chicken burgers on a gourmet milk bun with loaded fries and shakes – 7 days a week from 5pm til late. You’ll find these guys at 748 Victoria Road Ryde (park in the car wash).
3. Jinny Burger Truck
Try these juicy burgers at Tuckwell Park, Macquarie Park Tuesday – Thursday from 5pm – 9pm and Meadowbank Wharf on Friday and Saturday from 5pm – 10pm.
4. Grill’d, Macquarie Centre
Burgers, but healthier! With vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and low-carb options, there’s something for everyone. Make sure to try the sweet potato and zucchini fries!
5. Burgers On Broadway, Ermington
Part of a chain, this burger shop is a fave among locals. Consider trying the lamb or steak burger for something different!
