Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre officially re-opened for business in Sept 2022 after being closed for refurbishment for over 2 years. The results of this $55 million project? Fantastic!
Located in Baulkham Hills, the new complex boasts many fantastic features:
- 50m 10-lane Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool with seating
- 25m outdoor learn-to-swim and leisure pool
- 25m indoor warm-water pool
- Lagoon-style indoor pool area
- Outdoor water-play and splash pad

Splash Pad
The main attraction for kids would have to be the outdoor water play know as the Splash Pad. Featuring tipping buckets, water slides, water cannons and lots of other features that spray water all around the splash pad, the kids will just love it!
The Splash Pad water is heated to the same temp as the indoor pool – 30/31 degrees. So it’s even pleasant to use on a rainy or overcast day – with the added bonus of probably being slightly less busy on those types of days.
Another fab feature we know you’ll love is the Splash Pad has a party room off to the side! Parties are for a minimum of 10 children to a maximum of 20 children, up to 14 years of age. They run on weekends only, for 2 hours and are fully catered.
The Splash Pad operates from October to March:
- Monday – Friday (School Term) 3pm – 5:30pm
- Monday – Friday (School Holidays) 10am – 5:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday 10am – 5.30pm

- Family Swimming: $24.80 (5 immediate family members. max 2 adults)
- Children under 4 with a full-paying adult: FREE
Waves Cafe
Finally a decent cafe in a public pool! They have a good variety of food including lots of healthy options, nice coffee, and a pleasant space in which is only a few metres away from the pool.

You can find Waves Aquatic Centre at 44 Mileham Ave, Baulkham Hills (cnr Mileham and Oxley Ave)
Onsite they have parking for 48 cars and there are 51 bays on Mileham Ave.
