Jamie's Ministry of Food – School Holiday Program (National)

These school holidays, we’re offering our original Jamie’s Ministry of Food course online – meaning young cooks can learn how to cook delicious nutritious meals using Jamie Oliver recipes from their own kitchen.

Over 5 sessions participants will learn to make key recipes that cover every meal; from breakfast and sides to lunch and dinner. Taught by professional food trainers via a live interactive video chat, participants will learn knife skills and techniques to make it simpler and quicker to cook delicious meals and bring the best flavours out of fresh ingredients.

We’ll also be hosting a ‘taster’ session before the course on Saturday 12 September – places limited!

Spot On Children's Festival

The festival you know and love returns in the 2020 spring school holidays with even more excitement and adventure!

Back for its ninth year, Spot On Children’s Festival runs from Tuesday 29th September to Friday 2nd October and features a fun-filled, imaginatively hilarious and jam-packed line-up.

For the first time in 2020, Spot On will feature a mix of live in-person shows and live-streamed shows, opening the Festival up to a national audience for the first time, and allowing families to choose how they join in the fun.

Spot on Children’s Festival 2020 promises to be anything but boring. The line-up hitting the live stages includes The Beanies, The Box Show, Tiptoe Giants, Avocado Smash, Dr Audio Yo, and The Ridiculously Entertaining Adventures of Kiki and Pascal.

The afternoon activities take a hands-on approach with workshops featuring members of The Beanies, The Box Show and Avocado Smash, plus free streams daily via YouTube offering painting, storytime, Auslan songs and more.

The Italian Language Experience - Coffee Making

You may not be able to catch a flight to Rome but there is a way for you to visit Italy without stamping your passport… step into an Italian Language Experience. CO.AS.IT. has partnered with Schibello Coffee, a Sydney based company that has been roasting Italian coffee for decades. This experience focuses on teaching you the basics of espresso and coffee preparation skills, in Italian! You will then have the opportunity to practice ordering coffee in Italian, and finish the session by indulging with a nice cup of coffee, some complimentary biscotti and cannoli.

You will be provided with everything you need for this experience. Plus, you will receive a complimentary bag of coffee to take home.

North Ryde Coxs Road Playgroup

9.30am -11.30am during school term. All ages are welcome. The first two trial weeks are free. After that, you will be asked to become a member of Playgroup NSW and contribute $3 a week to cover costs.
