Lane Cove Gymnastics Club: Fun, Fitness & Community In One

When we visited Lane Cove Gymnastics Club, we were impressed by the fantastic facilities, easy parking, extensive class timetable, affordable fees, and, most importantly, the warm and welcoming teaching team.

The club is run by Fiona and her team, including her two now-grown sons, and you can feel the passion and experience they bring to the space. Fiona has been in the gymnastics world for over 21 years and brings that wealth of knowledge into every aspect of the club. What began in a humble church hall has grown into a large, vibrant facility, complete with a parent waiting area and an on-site café.

Lane Cove Gymnastics Club offers an exciting variety of programs designed to spark imagination and support children’s development, including:

  • Gymnastics classes for kids of all ages and abilities
  • Ninja Warrior training for adventurous kids
  • Magical baby classes with changing themes to keep little ones engaged

But it’s not just about the classes – it’s about community. The club has been thoughtfully designed for families, offering a cosy café where parents can relax and connect. And coming soon: a Club Reformer Pilates studio, giving parents a chance to prioritise their own wellbeing while the kids enjoy their classes. How good is that? Drop your child off at gymnastics and head upstairs for your own “me time”!

Classes Offered

Kinder Gym | Walking – 2.5 years
A sweet, parent-accompanied class introducing little ones to movement, balance and coordination through sensory-rich activities. We’ve attended this class with our one-year-old and loved it! The changing themes – we’ve experienced an enchanted garden and outer space so far – create a truly magical environment. Each class includes trampoline and foam pit warm-ups, themed obstacle courses, guided mat work (with hands and feet prints to help toddlers learn placement), balance beam walking and some bubble-filled parachute fun!

Kinder Transition | 2.5 – 4 years
Perfect for easing children into independent participation. It supports social and physical development in a playful environment and shares the same delightful themed lessons as Kinder Gym.

Kinder Rec | 4 – 5 years
A recreational program developing foundational gymnastics skills with a focus on strength, flexibility and teamwork.
